For The Love of Art - Jade Zammit

Jade Zammit (b. 1990) is a Maltese visual artist specializing in drawing and painting. She earned her degree in Architecture from the University of Malta. Zammit's work is deeply inspired by nostalgia and personal moments, favoring intimate themes over grand, monumental events. Recently, her work has taken a multidisciplinary approach weaving stories rooted in sentimentality, inviting the viewers to connect with the past.

In October 2021, Zammit was awarded a Professional Development Grant by the Arts Council Malta, funding her first artistic residency at R.A.R.O. Barcelona in Spain. During this residency, she created a body of work that was curated by SPRING v2.3, a program hosted by the Gabriel Caruana Foundation to support emerging artists. Since 2020, Zammit has participated in numerous collective exhibitions, establishing herself in the art world. Zammit is currently preparing for her debut solo exhibition, set to be held in Malta in October 2024.
